Cynthia Jabbour Sfeir is a dedicated university lecturer, academic researcher, and senior financial officer, with a strong focus on student mentorship and academic coordination. She currently serves as the Head of Budget and Financial Analysis at Notre Dame University in Lebanon. Beyond her administrative expertise, Cynthia has made significant contributions in academia, particularly in advising and guiding students through their academic journeys.

Cynthia’s educational career is distinguished by her ability to blend real-world experience with academic teaching. As an Academic Advisor and Coordinator at the Arts, Science, and Technology University in Lebanon, she played a key role in developing the department’s strategic direction, recruiting faculty members, and designing and coordinating both graduate and undergraduate courses. This integration of academic leadership with professional insights enabled her to guide students effectively through their studies while helping them connect theory with practice.

Her hands-on approach extends to her role as a thesis supervisor and external tutor, where she mentors students on their academic research projects, preparing them for successful careers. With a focus on practical, research-driven learning, Cynthia fosters the growth of future leaders and researchers. Her professional coaching expertise, as an ICF Level 1 certified coach currently pursuing the ACC certification, further strengthens her ability to guide students in both their academic and personal development, helping them integrate their learning into real-world contexts.

Her research interests, which include leadership, management innovation, and value co-creation in social media, further inform her teaching, creating an enriching learning experience for her students. Throughout her career, she has excelled as a school leader, managing several educational institutions, with a significant tenure at SABIS, a prominent global education network.

In addition to her hands-on experience in school leadership, Maya holds a certified diploma from Great Minds as a university counsellor.This qualification has empowered her to guide secondary students through the complex process of university admissions, aligning their academic achievements, skills, and personal attributes with suitable higher education institutions. Her dedicated mentorship has yielded remarkable results; many of her students have received acceptances from prestigious universities and garnered various academic awards.
